ELECOM Wireless Finger-operated Trackball Mous

A Great Review:

I LOVE this ELECOM Wireless Finger-operated Trackball Mous. I've been using a Logitech Marble Mouse for about 12 years, without having access to a more advanced trackball like a Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman or that unicorn known as Microsoft Explorer.

(Side note, my grandmother used to have a Microsoft Explorer and I'm kicking myself to this day that I didn't get it from her while it was still available. About a year and a half ago, I rescued a Logitech Trackman, known as the second-best trackball ever made, from e-waste at work. I was as happy as I could be and have used it daily ever since.

When I heard that a company was making a new ergonomic trackball, with several buttons and a scroll wheel, that did NOT sell for hundreds of dollars or even use it, I was stunned. I bought the ELECOM Wireless Finger-operated Trackball Mous and was impressed.

Best points about this mouse:

* Mouse wheel * Appealing * Ergonomic * Programmable buttons (mine is used to move forward/backward and control the volume of the browser) * Runs on a single AA battery (it's a small thing, but I don't like having to worry about multiple batteries so this is a bonus for me).

Positive Side:

  • -The ball is smooth,
  • -The grooves on the right side are perfect for not accidentally pressing the right click when grabbing with some firmness, as I usually do,
  • -The left main click is not a small recessed button like in Logitech Trackman.
  • -The scroll wheel is on the side, facing up, and the side-scrolling is very accurate. I've never accidentally scrolled sideways when I wanted to click scroll or vice versa
  • - Programmable buttons are very easy to set or reset
  • He called the Trackman the second-best trackball ever made, behind Microsoft Explorer; but you'll have to settle for the third one, as the Elecom Trackball is even better. I haven't been able to buy Microsoft Explorer to compare the Elecom, but I know it really is that good.

  • KEY FEATURES OF THIS TRACKBALL:

  1. Connection type: wireless
  2. Weight - 4 ounces
  3. Removable ball: yes
  4. Mouse Color: Black
  5. Tracking technology: optical

About ELECOM Wireless Finger-operated Trackball Mous:

✅COMFORTABLE DESIGN》 The design of the mouse is based on 6 different musculoskeletal structures of the hands, with special emphasis on the folding actions of the hands to provide a new level of hand comfort.

《 《OPTICAL TRACKING TECHNOLOGY》 The ELEOM "EX-G Series" trackball provides precise cursor movement for superior precision, allowing you to quickly get where you want on the screen with fewer hand movements, improving productivity and efficiency. It is very easy to move in any direction.

✅ 《8 FUNCTIONAL BUTTONS》 You can assign favorite functions to each button using "ELECOM Mouse Wizard". The ELECOM Mouse Wizard software can be downloaded from the ELECOM NET website.

✅ DPI CURSOR》 Designed with high-quality optical system sensor and lens for gaming. The DPI button can easily switch between 750 (LOW) and 1500 (HIGH) DPI, making cursor movements faster or slower. The ball is held in place by the ball bearings but can be easily removed from the unit by pushing it through the hole at the bottom and is easy to clean.

✅ 《PRODUCT DETAILS》 System requirements: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows RT8.1, Windows 10 or later (horizontal scrolling does not work in Windows RT8.1), macOS 10.10 or later, Size: W3.7 "(94.7) mm ) X L4.9" (124.4mm) X H1.9" (47.9mm), Weight: 4oz (without battery), DPI: 750/1500 count (switchable), Connectivity: Wireless, 1 X Battery AA (included) - Equipped lamp for remaining battery charge

One bad side:

My only minor complaint is that I wish the ball was bigger, like on the Trackman or Explorer, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I've also heard people complain that the ball itself doesn't track right sometimes, but it is! precisely! same size as the thumb ball on the Logitech M570, and you can easily swap them out.

Simply put, if you long for the glory days of trackballs, ELECOM Wireless Finger-operated Trackball Mous has ushered in a new golden age. The only thing I can think of would be better: a trackball with a scroll wheel and a dozen side buttons in the style of Razer Naga or Redragon Perdition; but that is, I admit, an unlikely niche chimera.

Conclusion:

I like this ELECOM Wireless Finger-operated Trackball Mous

has ushered in a new golden age. A lot of. I previously used an older wired trackball mouse. This one has the scroll wheel and now I can't use the other one. I want to order a second to work... a great mouse. I like the movement of the index finger...my husband has one with the ball in a position.
